All fill patterns

Every one of the 36 fill patterns: what it looks like, what its sliders do, and when to pick it.

This page is built from the app's own pattern list, so it always matches what you see in the picker. It has 36 patterns in three families.

  • Rows are parallel lines of stitches. You can bend them, break them and fade them with a gradient.
  • Motif patterns repeat a small shape across the area, like a brick or a weave.
  • Path patterns follow the shape: rings, spirals, rays or flow lines.

Set the pattern in the Fill pattern section of the left panel. Each preview there shows the pattern on a 40 by 30 mm shape. Pull compensation, underlay and row spacing work the same for every pattern. Read about them in Underlay and pull compensation.
