My Threads
Keep a shelf of the spools you own, and make Lilo match pictures to them first.
My Threads is your shelf of real spools. Lilo uses it so its colours match what is in your drawer.
Open it#
In the sequencer on the right, open the My Threads tab.
Add spools#
Three ways:
- From the catalogue. Type a brand, code or name into the search box and press Add next to the result. Adding the same spool again raises its quantity.
- By photo. Read Add a spool by photo.
- By hand. Fill in Brand, Line, Code and Name for a spool Lilo does not know.
Look after the shelf#
- Change the Quantity of each spool.
- Add Notes, like "half used" or "bought at the fair".
- Remove a spool when it is empty.
Back up and move#
- Export JSON… saves your shelf to a file.
- Import JSON… loads one back, on this or another computer.
If the shelf is empty on first open, you can restore a backup or Start with an empty shelf.
Use it when digitizing#
In Auto digitize, turn on Use my threads. Lilo matches the picture's colours to the spools on your shelf first. The panel says how many spools it is matching to. If the shelf is empty, it falls back to the brand you chose.
